Audrey A. Hulit, passed away at Bayshore Community Hospital on Thursday, August 22, 2013. She was proud to serve in the Coast Guard during World War II, being honorably discharged on May 5, 1946. She lived all over the United States throughout the years, finally coming to stay back in Red Bank in 1998. Audrey was a very talented seamstress, making most of her own clothes throughout the years.
She is survived by a niece, Kim Skillman of Brick, a nephew, Kurt Hulit of Fair Haven, a great-nephew, Jeff Hulit of Hamilton, cousins Gerald Hulit of Oradell, Bob Schmidt of Philadelphia, and Jackie Hulit of Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-5 pm Wednesday at Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. The military will hold a service honoring her at 2:30 pm. Burial will be private. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
