On September 4, 2023, Ashley’s spirit transcended, at 32 years old, after battling epithelioid sarcoma (cancer) for many years. The sun rose and the world welcomed Ashley on July 8, 1991, a day the world became a little brighter. Ashley was born in Puerto Rico, grew up in Florida, and later lived in New Jersey.

Ashley always put the happiness of others before her own happiness and cared for everyone like her own family. She gave her all to everybody and spread her love in all forms of languages. Ashley loves family, food, animals, and bringing people together. She was an open book, always ready to share her life stories. Ashley made thoughtful gestures to those she loved. She practiced forgiveness. She is the most loving and genuine spirit one could have ever encountered in their life. Her smile and energy shined as bright as the sun and stars in the night sky. She holds a special place in the hearts of many and will continue to live with us forever.

Ashley is survived by her father, James Rodriguez and her mother, Shirley Torres, her siblings, James, Jeshlyn and Lisa along with her close family members, Stepdad Johnny, Alex and her 4 fur babies, Bengi, Luna, Rollie and Pacho. She will always be remembered by her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, god children and nieces, Juliana, Aaliyanh and Alana along with her many friends as a loving soul who is leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. We are certain that she is no longer in pain and is now with her loved ones (Grandma Nere and God Father Poulo) who left this earth before her.
