Obituary for Anthony Natale
Anthony Natale, 64, of Long Branch, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at his brother’s home surrounded by loved family and friends. Also known as Big Ant, Nat, “Anthony, don’t call me Tony!”, the mayor, captain, among other names…
He was a member of the Dockbuilders/Carpenter’s Union Local 1456 of NY & NJ and also an Independent Home Contractor.
Anthony was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA and lived most of his life in West Long Branch. He graduated from Shore Regional High School in West Long Branch in 1975 and was an All State Soccer player.
Predeceased by his parents, John and Carmela (Millie) Natale; sisters, Carmie and Marie and nephews John and Tommy Kelly.
Anthony is survived by brothers, Frank (Lisa) Natale, John (Gina) Natale and Mike (Francene) Natale; niece, Starr Ackerman and nephews, Michael Natale, Jr. and Frank Natale, Jr. and the love of his life Karen DiFazio and her children, Guy, Brandon. Cameron and Kendall; and a host of friends from all walks of life including his Long Branch Volleyball League, Friends of Bill W., the West End Beach Crew, 7-11, Home Depot, etc. Anthony talked to everyone.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-7 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
