Angelina J. Barbara, 77, of Ocean Township, died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at home.

She was born in Long Branch and lived in Wayside before moving to Ocean 18 years ago. She was a bookkeeper at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune and then a hostess for Monmouth Park Racetrack, Oceanport before retiring. She was a member of the Colonial Terrace Womens Golf League.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Antoinette Esposito Barbara and her sisters, Rose Dolecki and Grace DeRogatis.



Surviving are her children, Dr. Mary Ann Scaccia and her husband Charles Jessup of Wayside, Ocean Township and Dr. Frank Scaccia of Sea Bright; 2 brothers, Charles Barbara of Long Branch and Sam and his wife Joy Barbara of Colts Neck; 2 sisters, Eleanor and her husband Raymond Mancini of West Long Branch and Mary Jane and her husband Frank Scalpati of Howell; and a grandson, John Furey.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 1 pm until her funeral service at 4 pm Sunday at Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.
