Alexander F. Kraus, 82, of Oceanport, died Friday, July 12, 2013 at Monmouth Care Center, Long Branch.
He was born in Bronx, NY and lived there and in Fair Lawn before moving to Oceanport in 2000.

Alex retired in 1996 at the age of 65. He was an electrical engineer working on the F15 Fighter jet radars systems. He retired from a subsidiary of BAE Systems. He served in the US Navy.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Theresa Krause.

Surviving are a sister, Catherine Pasztellak, a brother, Rudolf V. Kraus; a nephew and 2 nieces, Rudolf V. Kraus, Jr., Patricia Goodman and Barbara Reagor and 3 great nephews and a great niece.
