Obituary for Agnes "Cookie" Schulz
Agnes “Cookie” Schulz, 82, died Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Care One King James in Atlantic Highlands.
Cookie was born at home in Eatontown, NJ on June 1, 1939. She was a graduate of Red Bank Regional High School in 1957.
Cookie retired from the Department of the Army in 1998 after 30 years of service. Her career included working at Kaplan Hall, the Hexagon, the Provost Marshall’s Office, CECOM, and Patterson Army Hospital at Fort Monmouth. After retiring, she worked part-time at Monmouth Park Racetrack.
Cookie was a past member of the Monmouth Beach Ladies Auxiliary. She square danced for several years, and enjoyed reading her cookbooks, having conversations with friends, and shopping especially when it was with her daughters and granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harry M. Hulick and Agnes E. Wenzel, and her husband of 58 years, Charles E. Schulz.
Surviving are her daughters, Margaret A. Marra (Bob) and Cathy Blessing (Jim); 2 grandchildren, Maggie and Kristie Marra.
