Joseph Tallman, 75, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 surrounded by his family.
He was born and raised in Long Branch before moving to Oakhurst in 1968.
He worked for the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades Local # 694-DC711 in Neptune for 36 years before retiring in 2002.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harry and Margaret Tallman.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen Carlin Tallman; 2 children, Carolyn Tallman of Brick and Thomas and his wife Roseanna Tallman of Oakhurst; 2 grandsons, Devon Wicks and Thomas J. Tallman and his brother, Harry and his wife Mary Tallman of Landing; 2 nieces and a nephew, Anne, Gregory and Layla.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Friday at St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in West End, Long Branch followed by burial at St. Anne’s Cemetery in Wall.
