The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Sylvia Marsico can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Blue lady

The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Sylvia is her admiration for books, how she loves her coffee in the morning and her tea in the afternoon.

We would spend time in her front porch just gazing at the beautiful skies and how  much she would appreciate the Lord's creation.  We share stories about our families and other crazy things and I love how she would giggle...the 3 of us would joke around (me, Sylvia and Jun).  Jun would always ask Sylvia..."What do you want to eat?"  and she would reply "Jun, we just ate...I can't think of food right now." :)..but of course she knew Jun was just kidding her.

11am and 10pm is spent saying the rosary with her and Sundays we go to church with her for the 10am mass at St Michael's.

We play Sugar Crush and in between would look at the TV to watch her favorite Lifetime and Hallmark movies.

This lady loves to go on a cruise and attend weddings.  One time I remember she tried on a couple of her dresses and asked my opinion on what is best for her to wear.  She tried a very old dress and I told her "Oh Sylvia, sorry to say but that dress is so old, it belongs with your antique collections!" We laughed so hard. I guess she loved the color of the dress.  By the way, her favorite color is blue. :)  and blue looks so nice on her because it compliments her blue eyes.

I saw Sylvia's love for her family especially her love to all her beautiful grandchildren.  Summertime is always spent with them without fail and of course on important occasions.

I could go on and on and on...Oh Sylvia, thank you so much for everything...thank you for the memories. You will be missed immensely!

We love you so much,

Jun and Susie
