Obituary for Joseph R. DeRosa

Joseph R. DeRosa, 90, a lifelong resident of Long Branch died on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
He was an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Company for 34 years before retiring. He was an Army veteran of World War II. Joe was a communicant, lector and Eucharistic Minister at Christ the King Parish (Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church) in Long Branch.
He was predeceased by his wife, Rose Raimondi DeRosa, grandson, David DeRosa, his parents, Pasquale and Concetta DeRosa and a brother Alphonso DeRosa.
Surviving are his two children, Linda and her husband Lee Cooper and Joseph A. and his wife Lynn DeRosa; grandson, Matthew DeRosa and a sister-in-law, Joan DeRosa.
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit from 2-4 & 7-9 pm Friday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway, West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Saturday at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in West Long Branch.
