Obituary for Chemo Glynos

Chemo Glynos, 90, of Oakhurst, Ocean Township, died on Friday, February 16, 2018. She was born in Itea, Greece. She married August Glynos in1960 and lived in Brooklyn, NY before moving with her family to New Jersey in 1965 where they raised their two children.
She loved spending time with her family and friends laughing as well as making others laugh.
She was a long time member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Ocean Township.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, August Glynos.
Chemo was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are her children, Irene Glynos and Art and his wife Diane Glynos; her granddaughter, Julia Glynos; her sister, Voula; her brother, Luca and sisters-in-law, Peggy and Despina and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 5-9 pm Thursday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral service 10 am Friday at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Ocean Township. Burial will follow at St. George Greek Orthodox Church Cemetery in Neptune.
