Caroline Catalano, 85, of Monmouth Beach, died Wednesday, October 25, 2016 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. She was born in Newark and lived in Middletown before moving to Monmouth Beach in 1996. She was an avid cook and loved her family dearly.
She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Catalano; parents Patsy and Bertha Sommese; her brothers, Carmen and Johnny Sommese and her son-in-law, Timothy Brownlee.
Surviving are her 2 daughters Maria and her husband Greg DiGregorio and Patricia Brownlee; sisters Jean Helman and Rose DiPoce; 4 grandchildren, Anthony DiGregorio, Gina Grace, Cari Nico and Lauren Mangal; and 4 great-grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Sydney and Madison.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township.
