Obituary for Miriam S. Banfield

Miriam Virginia Speicher Banfield, 77, of Freehold, died on Monday, April 25, 2016 at CentraState medical Center in Freehold.
She was born in Orange, NJ on November 11, 1938. She lived in Wayside most of her life until moving to Freehold 15 years ago.
She graduated from Union High School and Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing, Bloomfield College and attended Jersey City State College. She worked as Registered nurse for 42 years at Veterans Administration Hospitals in New Haven, CT and East Orange, NJ and retiring from Jersey Shore Medical Center. After her retirement she work as a private home health aide for 4 years.
Miriam was a life-long Christian and was ready to meet her savior.
She was predeceased by her parents, Ralph C. and Rosalyn Hall Speicher and her loving husband, Gordon M. Banfield.
She is survived by her 3 precious children Karen Bowen and her fiance` Thomas N. Seeley, Kenneth Banfield and Kathryn Banfield; and her precious grandson, Kenneth Cassidy Banfield.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-8 pm Wednesday at the Fiore Funeral Home. 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst. Funeral service 10 am Thursday at the funeral home followed by burial at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.
