Marie Cosentino, 84, of West Long Branch, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 7, 2016 at Jersey Shore Center in Eatontown.
She was born and raised in Newark before moving to West Long Branch in 1954.
Marie worked at Bendix Corporation in Holmdel and then worked as a typesetter at Long Branch Monogram Company retiring in 2000. She was a communicant of Christ the King Parish at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch. She was a past president and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the West Long Branch Fire Company #2.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul “Pitt” Cosentino in 2002; her parents, Gaetano and Marie Casciano and her siblings, Tony, Vito, Jerry and Minnie Casciano and Josie Byer.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews, including niece Paulmarie Russo and Dennis O’Rorke and nephew Sam and Debora Guidetti who were her caregivers; and her great-nieces and nephews including Annmarie and Mark Russo and Kristy and Jon Martin.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 4-7 pm Sunday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway in West Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be offered at 10 am Monday at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch followed by entombment at Woodbine Mausoleum in Oceanport.
