Helen was born in Philadelphia, PA, before moving to Asbury Park, NJ, where she grew up and graduated from Asbury Park High School in 1967. She worked for AT&T for over 20 years and after her retirement was a medical receptionist and office manager for various doctors’ offices. Her passion however was babysitting all of her grandchildren as well as her nephew.
She was a devoted parishioner of the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church of Asbury Park, NJ, now located in Ocean Township, and was an active member and past board member of the philanthropic Saint George Philoptochos Society.
Helen loved life and especially her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she was so proud of them. She loved to cook and bake Greek food and she shared it with everyone. She had a kind heart and she lit up the room with her laughter. She was loved by all who met her. Helen will surely be missed.
