John A. Mazza, 73, of Shark River Hills, Neptune, died after a long illness on Wednesday, November 18, 2015.
Born in Long Branch, he lived in Shore area all of his life. He was a graduate of Asbury Park High School. He was a member of the Deal Fire Company. He enjoyed golfing especially after retiring earning several awards.
He self-employed in transportation. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Avon-by-the-Sea.
He was predeceased by his parents, Samuel A. and Irene Mazza; 2 brothers, Edgar and George Mazza; sister, Linda Mazza Hellwege and a brother-in-law, James Wall Francfort.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille Wall Mazza; 2 sons, John S. Mazza of Delaware and Christopher and his wife Christi Mazza of Florida and grandson, Alexander Mazza; 3 brothers-in-law, Dr. Alfred J. Francfort and his wife Lisel of Virginia, Dr. John Wall Francfort and his wife Patricia and Joseph Francfort and his wife Dawn all of New York; 3 sisters-in-law, Nora Francfort of Oakhurst, Diane Eaton and her husband Timothy of Westfield and Karin Francfort of Connecticut and many nieces and nephews.
