Obituary for Martha Ann "Marti" Dingle

Marti Dingle, formerly of Long Branch, passed away peacefully at her home in Clearwater, FL on August 23, 2014.

Born in Schuylkill, PA, she lived most of her life in Little Silver and Long Branch. She studied dancing at the Metropolitan Ballet Company in New York City. Later, she became a Gae Foster Girl at the Roxy Theater in New York City. When she moved to the shore, she worked as a realtor. Finally, she went to work for the Long Branch Board of Education as a secretary for more than 25 years before retiring in 2008. She was a member of the Monmouth Players Theater Group, worked on committees for the Monmouth Park Racetrack Charity Ball and the Long Branch Columbus Day Parade. She was a gifted seamstress making clothes and her exquisite Christmas stockings for family and friends and anyone who wished to have one. Marti was full of life, outgoing and funny. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and treasured each and every one of them.

She is survived by her beloved daughters, Carole Juliano and husband Nicholas of West Long Branch, Colleen Hein and her husband William of Whiting and Susan Greenberg of Clearwater, FL; her grandchildren, Marcy Fitzsimmons and husband Collin, Christopher Juliano and wife Laura, Nicole Siciliano and Marc Siciliano, Kristen LeVangie and husband Derek, Allison Lindblom and David Turton, David Lindblom, Tiffany Diener-Bennett and husband Miles and Keith Greenberg; her great-grandchildren, Summer and Drew Siciliano, Violet LeVangie and Dillon Turton whom she adored and gave her great joy in life and her cat, Misty, who was her faithful companion.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 20 from 7-9 pm at the Fiore Funeral Home, 882 Broadway in West Long Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Monmouth County SPCA. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com.
