Stella DeGruttola, 91, of Brick, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick.

She was born in Newark and lived there and in Roselle Park before moving to Brick 7 years ago.

She worked for Schering Plough Pharmaceuticals in Kenilworth for 30 years before retiring 22 years ago.

She was predeceased by her husband, Victor; her parents, Wladislaw and Helena Hofturewicz; brother, Edward Hofturewicz and a sister, Mary Alstrom.

Surviving are her sons, Victor and his wife Denise of Georgia and Ronald and Madelyn of West Long Branch; sister, Helen Killian of IL; 9 grandchildren, Jason, Kyle and his wife Madu, Amber, Joseph and his wife Marybeth, Gregory, Sheena, Tara, Samantha and Alexis and a great granddaughter, Priya Stella Dora.
